TOP 10 FAVORITE PAGES ON MY JOURNAL
TOP 10 FAVORITE PAGES ON MY JOURNAL
Hello,
readers! It’s been a long time since my last blog so I suddenly have the urge
to write a new one. And, as you can see by title, it will be about my favorite
pages on my journal. But, before we get to that, let me first check on you. How
are you? How’s your life going? I am really hoping that you are on a much
better place now. You are happy and at peace. You are healthy. You are growing.
And I hope that the same is true with the ones closest to you. Whatever you are
going through right now, it will surely pass. I know it is hard, but I am
rooting for you. My DMs are open if you need someone to listen.
Now,
won’t you ask how I am? Well, I’m growing… except for my boobs. CHAR!
So,
let’s go to the main point of this blog. I will be sharing my top 10 favorite
pages on journal. You know, I really love journaling. When I do it, I just feel
relaxed and it reduces my stress. To be honest, I don’t really know what
journaling is, I don’t know if it is a ‘dear diary’ type where you write what
happens to your day, but, I consider what I do as journaling. So what I do is I
write my thoughts in it, I write my learnings, I write the favorite lines from
the books I’ve read, I write my long-term plans, I write my favorite Bible
verses, and many more that I want to include in it.
It
just goes down to the fact that whatever I put into my journal, it is a
reflection of who I am, because if you will read my journal, you can tell what
my personality is and how am I growing as a person because of the things I
learn and how my perspective gets wider and broader.
In doing a journal, it is not required to do it every
day. I just do it when I feel like doing it. Journaling is meant to reduce our
stress and not to pressure us in doing it each passing day. Anyway, at this
moment, allow me to share my TOP 10
FAVORITE PAGES ON MY JOURNAL. There will be no particular order. I will be
dropping them by date, from oldest to the most recent.
First:
I made this on May 4,
2020, more than a year ago. This is one of my favorites because of the effort I
put just to come up with this water intake tracker. A for effort, really. The design
was inspired by one of the Jonaxx planners. I can’t really remember what
exactly it is. This was the last time I made a water intake tracker because it
takes a lot of effort to keep track when you drink. My advice is, if you’ll
make a tracker like this, you must be really into it because after how many
days, you tend to forget that you need to record your water intakes. I’m never
doing this again. Yeah.
Second:
I want to clear
something before everyone gets triggered on why I tore up these book pages of
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. One day, my brother got home bringing
a lot of books and he told me that he saw these outside our neighbor’s house
who apparently decluttering that time. He asked permission to that neighbor of
ours if he could just bring those books home because he knows I love books. I
check the books and mostly they are about technology so I set those aside ‘because
I don’t have interest in those. I also saw a Bible for kids which is, sadly,
torn up and the book spine is not working to keep the book intact. And then I
also saw this Harry Potter book which has the same situation with the Bible for
kids. That time, I still tried to read it because I never had a chance to read
a Harry Potter book but as time passes by, the situation of the book gets worse
so instead of throwing it, I just decided to use it for my journal. I hope we
are all fine.
This is one of my favorites, dated January 6, 2021,
because I super love these words of Les Brown. One time, when I was bored, I watched
some motivational videos on Youtube and I came across this video where Les
Brown is the speaker. So there, I wrote down the lines that really got me and I
will always remind myself of these for the rest of my life.
Third:
This is dated March 3,
2021. This page is one of my favorites because although it looks so simple, the
words written on this is so powerful. Grow through what you go through. It
reminds me that whatever life throws at us, we must always take that as an
opportunity to learn and grow.
Fourth:
I wrote this on March 8,
2021. When I watch one of the vlogs of Toni Gonzaga, Toni Talks, which I
really love watching because I learn so many stuff, I came across this Bible
verse. Romans 5:8. When I saw this, I was like, “Oo nga, ‘no?”. This speaks so
much about the love of God and when I think about this, all I can feel is
comfort and assurance.
Fifth:
This page is dated
March 30, 2021. This is one of my favorites because I super love the shade of
green I used in this page. In addition, I am living for Nikita Gill’s Wild
Embers. It is some sort of a compilation of poems. I have so many pages of my
journal which contains Nikita Gill’s works. I love how it is written. I learned
so much about self-love and self-worth. “You broke to become.” I will leave you
thinking about it. *winks*
Sixth:
I made this last May 1,
2021 after I finished reading Love Letters to the Dead by Ava Dellaira. When I
read, I always make sure that I learn something. Because what is the point of
reading if you won’t learn from it, right? One thing I learn from this book is
that we must stick to our truths. As what is written there, truth is beautiful.
It is beauty simply because it’s true. And I couldn’t agree more.
Seventh:
I am a fan of Jonaxx
since 2014 and no one can replace her as my favorite author. I made this
journal last May 12, 2021. Aside from her amazing stories, I love her as a
person because I learn so much from her. She inspires me to be a better person.
This is one of my favorites because this page is full of her. It’s like my
journal is blessed because there is a page only for her.
Eighth:
This is dated May 22,
2021. This is one of my favorites because, FOR ME, it looks cute. Also, this page
is full of God’s words and wisdom. This gives me motivation, hope, and courage.
As what the title say, it’s for the soul. When I read this, it calms me and it
takes away all the worries that I have.
Ninth:
This has the same color
scheme with the previous one, I don’t know why. So I made this on May 26, 2021.
This is one of my favorites because I love the Costa Leona Series written by
Jonaxx. Since this series is ending, I want to be reminded of the powerful
families that I grow up with. I grow up reading this series so I dedicated a page
for the family crests of these families that I’ve been with for how many years.
Writing this, I can’t help but be emotional thinking that we are so close to ‘A
Kiss to Costa Leona’. Aww.
Tenth:
This is the last and
the most recent, dated June 15, 2021. This is one of my favorites because aside
from the meaningful words, I also love the design I made for this page. I got
these lines from again, one of the episodes of Toni Talks, where Toni Gonzaga
interviewed Bro. Bo Sanchez. If you also watched that vlog, let us all find
that Surrender Place. *winks*
There you go! My Top 10 Favorite Pages on my Journal. But
here is a bonus line. Let us keep this in mind. Always.
We are done! I encourage you to make your own journal. It
will keep you sane. If you wonder, journaling doesn’t require a lot of money.
To be honest, I have been journaling for more than a year but I just spent less
than 500 pesos. I think? The secret is, you need to be resourceful and
creative. Recycle if you must!
Happy journaling, readers!
I
am taking my time writing this blog but the truth is, I have a lot of things to
do. If you read this, this is a sign that you must also finish your tasks. Go!
So, I am ending this blog. Keep safe and
keep sane, everyone. I had fun writing this. I hope you also had fun reading! Enjoy
and live. ‘Til the next blog. Mwa.
